A Poem for Sweetest Day

In Praise of Cocoa, Cupids, & Nightcaps
Half past nine-high time for supper;
"Cocoa Love?" Of course my dear.
Helen thinks it quite delicious,
John prefers it now to beer...

Knocking back the sepia potion,
Hubby winks, says, "Who's for bed?"
"Shant be long," says Helen softly,
Cheeks a faintly flushing red.

For they've stumbled on the secret
of a love that never wanes,
raft beneath the tumbled bedclothes,
cocoa coursing through their veins.

How 'bout a few prize winning chocolate recipes from Ghirardelli Chocolate. Theses recipes for New Idea Fudge, Fudge Cake Filling and Ghirardelli's Chocolate Pudding were tucked inside an undated envelope mailed from D. Ghirardelli Co. San Francisco, Calif. Printed in the USA. I have 32 of these packet recipes so you can imagine the difficulty selecting just 3 recipes to share. (click to enlarge) Enjoy Sweetest Day:)
