  13. hi louise, moon playing peek a boo? hehe..chinese round the world will be celebrating the mooncake festival in about 3 weeks' time from now...there will be full moon that night..no blue moon :D

  14. I was on the interstate admiring the full moon...and I so wanted to pull over and snap a picture of the sispy clouds floating in front of the moon. You got some gorgeous shots!

  15. I saw the moon rise last night (no longer full of course) and it was beautiful. I can't imagine how you managed to get such good shots of it.

    I just checked and found why it was said to be blue. It "qualifies as a Blue Moon because it's the third full moon in a season with four (most seasons have only three)." I always used the apparently erroneous definition that it was the second full moon in a single calendar month, which could only be after the 29th of a month. Anyway we won't have another until 2015, they say. I think this has nothing to do with the color blue but with some metaphoric use.
