Cute ghost cake, Louise. Love the eye idea. I confess, I've never cared for candy corn, not even as a child, but they sure are cute on cakes etc. Perfect pumpkin/Halloween colors.

Happy "Candy Corn Day," Louise! I'm not a huge fan of this particular treat. I love these ghost ideas!

I wonder if those pears would taste good, or if the inventor was overcome by the desire to make them look like ghosts.

Nice collection of Halloween food images!

Dear Louise, Happy Halloween! What a fun post. Love the recipes especially ghost on a stick. I love pears. I hope that you get many treats and no tricks. Have a fun day and thanks for sharing! Enjoy and have a blessed day, Dottie )

You know that my kids would want that cake! Because, really, who would not want a ghost cake?

Happy Halloween! Hope the trick-or-treaters are adorable for you. (I was taken aback when the natives here expected a joke, story or song in return for candy....turns out that's a tradition here, which we never saw in Connecticut! In Tennessee, parents take their kids to the mall where stores hand out penny candy from 5 to 6 PM. Very different.)

I love the _Cookbook for Boys & Girls_! Not much can compete with trick-or-treating for a kid, but a ghost cake with flaming eyeballs could certainly do it...

HI Louise, sorry I'm late in commenting and miss so many of your postings. Now I'm free to go thru one by one.
Great posting. The ghost on stick look so cute, I'm sure the kids will love them.
