Wordless Wednesdays; In a Sentimental Mood

37 comments:

  1. Dear Louise, This is a very heartfelt post in such a subtle and appropriate way.
I remember my mom always keeping cards and such tucked away in her books, bible and drawers. I remember the sweet smell of her perfume and sachet's on these keepsakes long after she was gone.
The friendships that appear when we need them I consider angelic and heaven sent.
Beautiful post. Blessings dear. Catherine xo

  2. Hi Louise ,
Valentine's Day always put me in a 'Sentimental' mood , especially when I have chocolate on my mind (which is all time) ;-D what a great post , I think my older sister has a Victoria magazine , Friendship is something I don't take lightly . I treat all my friends like a fragile package ... 'Handle with Care' . Thanks so much for sharing :)

  6. Dear Louise, Just beautiful! A lovely post and it is so true. I remember my grandmother saving little cards she would get from her girlfriends, they were scented with perfume and would have a tassel on the end. Some of them had lace around the border, and others had beads with pearls. She took such good care of them and would always tell me, "That you can have many friends, but you will only have 5 true friends. A friend is never a co-incidence in your life. They bring you joy and laughter. So treasure the friendship you have between them.". Blessings....dear friend, Dottie <3

  14. Wish we could sit down for a cuppa! It's a great pot of tea kind of day here. 10-20" of snow on the ground with more on the way, and two dogs who have somehow gotten too mature to want to play with me in the snow. Sigh.
