Merry, Merry, Merry, Meatballs

Hi Everyone!

I just couldn’t let the Christmas season slip on by without taking a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Healthy New Year:)

Things have been going rather well around here. I’ve adjusted comfortably to married life, which believe it or not, I find a bit surprising, lol…(Marion and I both lived single lives for longer than we liked to remember:)

Mike and I had a glorious time traveling across our great country in the camper, although, we did have a few “mishaps” along the way. (a flat, canopy problems while driving along the interstate, a blizzard and even a carbon monoxide scare. Thank goodness my sister Maria was with us. She was a HUGE help to Mike!) Thankfully we made it to Idaho safely and in time for Tabitha’s birthday and Thanksgiving!!! As it turned out, we left the camper in Idaho and will need to return in the Spring to pick it up and continue our southern route back to PA. (good Lord willing and the creek don’t freeze:) As many of you know, I usually go out to Idaho in the Spring for Tabi and Noah’s recital. Next Spring Mike will be coming with me!!! As you can see, Mike as been officially "christened" into the family:) (He's the one with the Mickey ears:)

As for my health, I’m doing really, really, really well. I do believe even the doctors are a bit baffled! I’m not questioning anything and just enjoying every single solitary memory! I suggest all of you do the same:) If there is one thing I have learned through-out this whole experience, it is, #everydayisagiftfromGod and I thank him every day for it! I won’t be returning to blogging. I'm undecided but I was thinking of taking this blog private sometime in January. To be perfectly honest, I don't know what to do! I am on Facebook and Instagram as (Louise.Vee.) You can also find me Pinning. I don’t post very often but I sure would love to see how you “guys” are doing:)

I guess you could say these Merry, Merry, Merry Meatballs harvested from the Christmas Memories Cookbook published by the Mystic Seaport Museum Store in Mystic CT, ©1983 are going to be the last recipe I will be sharing with you all on this blog. I have oh so many cookbooks and recipes I would still love to share with you but I'm not sure how to go about it on the other social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram. Maybe I'll figure it out, lol...

Thank you all again for all the wonderful memories and kinship. I'm going to try and drop by your blogs in "person" one more time before the year is done. Just in case, I don't make it, Happy Holidays to you all and a very Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours, Louise:)
