The Birds Are Back in Town!

I don’t know about you “guys”, but I’m getting a bit bored with seeing my last post from December. Don’t get me wrong, Merry, Merry Meatballs still sound rather inviting however, as I finally sit here typing at my computer, the sun is shining the trees are beginning to leaf up and yes, the birds are back in town!!! I think it is high time for a more recent post. Don’t you?

I planned on being here for Easter but as you may have guessed, that didn't happen, lol...I do hope all who celebrate had a joyous holiday. Ours was quiet but filled with Spirit:)

Little by little we've been helping the garden get ready for it's many blooming events. Quite honestly, I haven't really been able to do much in the garden this year but thankfully my hubby has been a huge help!!! There really isn't much to show you yet so...

I'll stick to the bird's eye view:) Now, don't you worry, just because I'm not able to do a whole lotta bending and weeding, doesn't mean I'm not feeling well. On the contrary, I'm doing GREAT! As a matter of fact, at the beginning of May, I will be making my yearly journey to Idaho to see my daughter and the kids. And, guess what? Mike, that's my "fairly" new hubby, will be coming with me! He says he isn't comfortable with me traveling alone but I know it's because he misses the camper!!! I don't know if I told you or not but we had to leave it in Idaho over the Winter. We are very excited about picking it up and drving it back home. We aren't planning on an extended trip to get it home. We're going with the direct route this time since it will only be us two. My sister took the trip out there with us and thank goodness she did, she was a HUGE help!!! What a difference a year makes:)

It's looking like I'll be doing a lot of lounging around this season. Although I'm feeling fairly well, I do get tired easily and must take things slow. I'm not on any heavy duty medications which makes me very happy:) We are pretty much taking one day at a time. I'm really excited that my daughter, her husband and the kids will be coming to visit this year. Once we get the camper back to Pennsylvania, I don't think I'll be making any long trips for a while so it will be wonderful to have them all come visit. I may even invite everyone from New York to come up and have one big party!!! (Of course I'll just delegate:) These are the outfits the kids will be wearing for their dance recital. Seriously, aren't they sooooooo coooool!!!

As many of you know, I'm always on the lookout for the return of the hummingbirds. So far I haven't even gotten a glimpse. I was so worried, I did a quick search on Google to see when they will be back. It seems, the usually return around the end of April or the first few weeks of May. Something tells me it might be May this year. Well, it looks like some other feathered friends in the neighborhood are making sure the hummingbird feeder stays bug free until they return:)

I hope all is well in all of your little corners of the world:) I miss you all sooooooooooo much! It doesn't look like I'll be back to blogging for a while. As a matter of fact, I'm going to see if I can figure out how to go back to a blogspot blog and not have my own domain any more. I'm also going to turn off comments. I know, I know, but it's not easy for me to keep up with comments when I'm in tip top shape, lol, so in so, so shape it's best for me to turn them off:) You can find me on Facebook though. I don't post a lot but I do once in a while. My name is Louise Veee on FB. Take care everyone and thank you all for your prayers and encouraging wishes. Remember, your health is truly your wealth AND, #EverydayisagiftfromGod Louise:)

  1. Beautiful photographs - the birds are so pretty and your children are gorgeous in their outfits 8)

  2. Thank you Merryn and thank you so much for visiting...

  3. Physical therapy is tough but ya gotta do what you need to for your health. Best wishes on getting through it. I know you can! I like your
    garden photos, very nice.
By the way, try to import ( or maybe it's export) your blog to blogspot. That way you won't lose your data. I paid for a domain once and after I year or so I didn't want to do that. Well, I thought my data and posts would still be there and I would just lose the Dot Com address.
Nope, It all disapppeared. I had to start over but that wa ok,
    Take care of yourself!

Through this wide opened gate,
none came too early,
none returned too late.

Thanks for dropping in...Louise
