I agree, Helene!
One of my daughters has a friend whose grandparents immigrated from Italy - the girl speaks the language - and she was puzzled when she saw me making spaghetti sauce with cans one night. I told her she was welcome to stay for dinner, but to be aware that I'm as far from Italian as one can get and still be of European extract, and I don't care that much for red sauce. She stayed, and said my sauce was good. I was pleased.Your cards are cute.
I've been using canned tomatoes to make tomato sauce for years, Marjie. It's all about the love:)
