ReplyDeleteGood for Marion! She sure doesn't look her age!
Thanks Barbara, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Marion sure is a gem:)
DeleteIt's great to see Marion!
ReplyDeleteOh she is definitely back to her "robust" self, lol, Mae...
DeleteI hope I look that good at 93!! I love vintage children's books. I have a whole box of them somewhere!
ReplyDeleteThat makes two of us, Pam. If only I could get her to reveal her secret:) You really should dig out those books. I know I'd love to see them.
DeleteNo way does Marion look 93! But we're all kids at heart, aren't we!
ReplyDeleteIndeed we are, Inger!!!
DeleteGlad to see Marion is doing better. She looks like she is really enjoying her cupcake ice cream cone.
ReplyDeleteMarion is doing GREAT, Geraldine and she LOVES those cones!
Deleteoh, that's marion! great to see her pic here and she looks good. How about your pic?
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you haven't seen Marion before, Lena. She is rather camera shy, like me, but I surprised her in the first picture and in the second she actually posed, lol...
DeleteLovely post! I need to show it to my children. Very interesting Louise.
ReplyDeleteMarion looks fab at the age of 93! She has an amazing skin! And I bet she never used any special creams through her life!
This book is so adorable, Alida. I just had to share it:) I hope your children like it too:)
DeleteI think Marion has wonderful skin too. It looks just as amazing in real life:) As far as I know, she has never used special creams. She does however, drink lots and lots of water and the only moisturizer she uses is Vaseline on her face! (uh oh, I may be giving away her secrets:)
Dear Louise,
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of the retro childrens party cookbook! Such a simpler time that was. That book must have really fun, foods, and games to play. You have a gem there. I have never seen Marion before, but you can't tell me she is 93! OH MY Goodness, bless her for sure. She looks so young. That must be because she is living with you...Thanks for sharing, and tell marion it was nice to meet her. Blessings, Dottie :)
I love children's cookbooks, Dottie. They are so difficult to find these days though:) Marion sure does look terrific for her age. She has such a positive attitude. I think that's what keeps her looking so young:)
DeleteMy dad is going to be a 93 year old kid later this week! Like Marion, he doesn't look 93. Fun post - thanks.
ReplyDeleteMarion is beautiful! She DOES seem to be enjoying those cupcakes, I don't blame her! That was a fun recipe.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Ginger
